Florida Calling, Again....

It was back to Florida in November. Just in the nick of time, too, as the weather officially turned more fall-like in Maryland as soon as we left.

First stop, Grandma and Grandpa's in Cape Coral. Burgers at Ford's Garage didn't disappoint.

Sunday funday at the beach at Cape Coral Beach Club.

The kids, Grandma and Grandpa ventured to Orlando while mom went to Miami for work. Gatorland was fun for all, especially our personal gator wrangler.
 Rouging it at the Omni.

They got to choose one Disney park to visit this go around--they both voted for Animal Kingdom.

The highlight of the day for all was definitely the Avatar: Flight of Passage ride. Worth every bit of the 95 minute wait.

 Disney Springs.
 More tubing torture.

We spent a day at the Gaylord pools, always a good time.
Not making the holiday card short list....
Once we'd sufficiently knocked around Orlando, we headed back west towards Tampa. The Allen crew was gathering for a wedding.
And Aunt Carol of course had to make sure the almost-birthday-girl Kacy was feted as well.

Boots and Grandan couldn't make the wedding so Aunt Lacey brought along the next best thing--B&G on sticks.
They had a great time visiting with everyone.

 Oh Daniel, so close.

Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Talbott!
Officially celebrating birthday #12 with flan at the legendary Columbia restaurant in Ybor City.
And with that, this chapter of Florida adventures was complete.
Be back in December for more!

#BraceFace in the Emerald Isle

"Kacy, what did you do this summer?"
"Oh, went to Ireland."
Kacy made her first journey across the pond. First meal in Ireland? Epic fish and chips in a pub in Killarney.

Giving her new GoPro a whirl.
Recovering from the red eye is hard.
Beautiful views from our hotel in Killarney, Hotel Europe.
Day two brought us to the Gap of Dunloe, riding a pony and trap.

Kacy's name in Irish translates to "She who speaks to sheep".

For the most part, Kacy subsisted off of pasta and butter. She tried it everywhere. Literally.
 On the beach near Dingle.
#braceface and some horses outside of Killarney.

After three nights in Killarney, it was all aboard for a train ride over to Dublin.
 Getting her whiskey-distilling education.
 And then her Guinness knowledge.
Trying out old school technology in John Jameson's office at Jameson's.
 Storming the castle.

 #braceface on the Liffey
#braceface in St. Stephen's Green.
Dublin: conquered.
